Torre di Palme

The historic center of Ascoli Piceno, also called the “city of travertine”, is full of historic buildings from the medieval age.
The wonderful Piazza del Popolo where we can admire the “Palazzo dei Capitani”, the renaissance palaces, the arcades and loggias.
Not least Piazza Arringo where stands the cathedral of Sant’Emidio flanked by the baptistery of San Giovanni.
You can’t leave without tasting the ascolana olives and the famous “anisetta meletti”.

Fermo
Town about 4 km from the coast, where stands the cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta with this gothic architecture dating back to the year 1200. The underlying “Piazza del Popolo” which houses “Palazzo dei Priori” wich houses the civic art gallery and the famous world map room. Absolutely to visit the ancient Roman cisterns dated 40 AD.
Grotte di Frasassi
THE FRASASSI natural caves are a real natural wonder, kept in the heart of the “Gola Rossa” and “Frasassi” natural park. Inside the caves, you can admire natural sculputers formed by calcareous stratifications over 190 milion years and sculpted thanks to the incessant action of water.

There are also paths that allow you to discover Monte Conero on foot, by bike or on horseback.
